Snuggly kitty

OK, I really just wanted an excuse to share this picture of my kitty snuggled in my lap. It's rare that I get to take such close up shots of her, because she is often like a kid whose parent takes too many pictures...she turns away from the camera (or phone, as the case may be). She even manages to do this when I think she's sleeping! Do your pets like to pose for pictures?

We only have a pet sheep now but he fancies himself as photogenic. :)

@fluffysue Here he is. If you search for 'Hercules' you'll find a few posts about him and some more photos.

She's a beauty. Does she have one green and one blue eye or is that a reflection of some sort. My kitty does the same thing so I've learned to be really really sneaky .... it also helps that my camera has a setting for action shots otherwise I'd get nothing but blurry kitty shots.

Thanks. For some reason that picture just came out that way; her eyes are the same color, aside from the dark spot on one that isn't on the other. Ah using a real camera, that probably helps with the kitty shots. I take most of mine on my phone. It's handy because I usually have it on hand, but a camera would probably be better. :)

My camera flashes twice due to red eye reduction so for the first flash my cat closes her eyes. I almost never can get a picture of how pretty her big green eyes are. As you can see in my profile picture she is squinting from the first flash.

Thank you! Do you think you'll get a pet sometime? I really like having a cat, even though I did not grow up with them.

Very pretty kitty and surprised you were able to capture her picture. Our two dogs won't sit still for a picture but we've been able to get a few when they weren't looking

Thanks you. Yeah, she really knows how to dodge the camera, too, and she seems to figure out pretty quick whether I'm just looking at my phone or taking a picture. I took a bunch but this is one of the few where she was looking at the camera.

She's "malleable" because she is droopy eyed sleepy.
