Third go round....finally got rid of the car ad. I just booked our flight to Charleston. For this coming May. I hate the bulging credit card but if we don't book ahead we may end up walking from my state to the Carolinas. You know that ain't going to happen. So the details. Many of the flights from us to there start at 5 am!! Its a 2 hour drive to the airport. That is not going to work, us driving in the pre dawn. I finally found a plane that leaves in the afternoon. And dumps us in two airports, 2 hour sits in each one. Oh well. At least we get a plane ride. About a thousand dollar plane ride but a ride. It feels good to have this decision made. Now I can go back to staring at snowflakes falling outside my window. Again. No I do NOT live on a mountain pass.
