Why doesn't Paul Pierce play anymore? Are they saving him for the playoffs or he just can't play anymore?

Because Pierce is done as a player. He wouldn't opt out of the final contract year so he collects money sitting.

I used to like Paul Pierce when he played for the Boston Celtics.
