As soon as I wake up I need to keep going and be busy. Work really hard when it's time for work so my mind will have no time to meditate on worries. I'm having anxieties almost everyday and this is the solution I see. I will try to be busy all the time so I don't have time to think of my anxieties, my worries and my problems. Do you believe it's effective?

I think this might work. Sometimes I lay awake and think all sorts of things. I'm better off to get up and get busy to stop myself thinking so much.

Anxiety is horrible. I have found that I do better by trying to figure out what is causing my anxiety and dealing with the root problem. If I just try to avoid it, the anxiety just gets worse. Are you able to deal with the issue that is causing your anxiety? Maybe finding a solution will help. Take care and I will keep you in my thoughts.

Yes it is right that if you are so busy with your routine life there is no time to think about our worries. But I will call it Mechanical life. Life needs leisure breaks and holidays.

In a short term, yes it works... But if you do it in a long term, it will not. One day you will have a break down. How do I know? I've been there done that... Try not to take too much in your hands. Share it if you can.... Good luck!

It's all about redirecting your thoughts. Right now I'm having some relationship issues and I'm trying to keep myself busy because the anxiety can be quite overwhelming. Even being active on MyLot is a great distraction from anxiety.

I think this can work depending on your personality type and the kind of anxieties you have. However, if there is something to worry about that needs attention then it might always be there, perhaps in your subconscious mind. I have social anxiety and I find that occupying myself does help somewhat. Sometimes I think we can worry ourselves stupid thinking about things that might happen or berating ourselves about something we might have done. Action does seem to help to distract me from ruminating.
