Pleasant surprises on myLot

It is nothing earthshaking, and no, I am not earning any kind of a fortune here. But it always surprises me when I get notifications of comments on older discussions.
I have had a couple of people read and comment in the last few days on a discussion from last September.
I like to visit older discussions that look interesting too, or discussions from people I follow that I missed while away. Do you click on those that show up as "You might also like?"

If i see that the title captures my attention then yes ill go and check those discussions out. Like every post here the title is the first thing that catches my attention, then what you write.
Those that have only one simple line dont catch my attention because there isnt much to go on for discussion in the first place.
Unless that one or two sentences have some kind of value i wont answer at all.

@JamesHxstatic Exactly. There is no point in a discussion that has only one sentence where you look and think "what can i even answer to this?"

I agree. A discussion needs some body to make it worthwhile to look at.

Sometimes I do but often the older ones are just old and by that I mean not current info.

The one of mine that was visited was just pretty general, not meant to be timely, but I know what you mean.

@JamesHxstatic I have had a few comments on old stuff - mostly happens when there doesn't seem to be a lot of new activity.

I don't get that feature on my phone, but I use it sometimes when I'm on the computers at the library.

In answer to your question, yes, sometimes--it is peasant when someone looks at older discussions of mine--

No but I should start doing that, I don't often think about it since I always find something recent to comment on.

I haven't since I have been here but I should because some of them sounds really interesting. I have never had anybody make any comments on my older posts.
