Best Break-up song and Willie Nelson did it

I don't normally write about specific songs here, since many more knowledgeable than I do a good job of it. But I happened to hear Willie Nelson's "Bloody Mary Morning" (again) the other day.
Thankfully, I have not had a break-up for many years now and I would not drink a Bloody Mary on a bet. But this great upbeat song about "leavin' baby somewhere in LA" and "flying down to Houston" to forget her sounds like a great way to deal with a break-up. It has no mopey,maudlin lyrics and looks ahead to a quick change of scene with a drink or two along the way.
Break-ups are not that easy, but this sounds like a good way to start. I never thought of this back then.

I have to say that "Hit the Road, Jack" was always my favorite break-up song ... back in the day! LOL

That would definitely be the best way to handle things. No sense moping around. It won't change anything. Best to just get on with your life and keep moving forward. Great song and that drink in that picture sure does look good.

My favorite Willie song. I used it in my "morning songs" series. "A hostess takes our order, coffee, tea, or something stronger to start off the day." Love it.
