I think my education would not be useful for employment

Unemployed - I am currently one of them. To think that I am a graduate of two courses and passed the government's eligibility examination.
It has been three months since I started seeking for employment and my focus was to work with the government but there has been no chance. Well, I mean I applied to several government offices and they said they have vacancies but sad to note that they need someone who I know to back me up.
Does it really matter? It is whom you know and not what you know?

It is different in our country. Our CVs has to list at least 3 references. Mine has, but they need persons like the congressman and the likes.

@marguicha in my list is a professor, a previous job superior and a well - known man who use to handle us as one of their trainees. But the agencies requires higher. They need a more strong back-up. They even named the congressman. They said I have to get his recommendation. 3 of the agencies said that sad to say.
