Sometimes we're unable to understand why certain situations arise. Why we're going through so much at one time. If the problems will ever fade away. "In time" we'll figure out why the occurrences occurred. There will be times when we'll have no answers. No need to wreck our brains because. We're going to know everything. Yes, it's pretty difficult dealing with the problematic events which there's no way of getting around the adversity. "There will be wonders" and sometimes the mind will just ponder on what if's and why certain situations occurred. going through any adversity and feeling a bit fatigued doesn't mean we're not equipped to handle what we're going through. Perhaps there some breaks in order to remain functional. To not understand can seem troubling at times. We're understand all things. There will be mysteries. A lot of unsolved events. Even trying to put pieces together the pieces may not always fit. A lot of times the "reasons" why will come at a later date. Going through the process builds strength more than we had before. Questioning will occur and answers may arrive but don't dismayed if there's no answers.

Is this why people keep saying that thing happens for a reason?

Not really ... People say that because ... something The Joker explains to Harvey "Two-Face" Dent "Nobody panics when things go 'according to plan,' even if the plan is horrifying." 'People say "thing happens for a reason"' to settle their minds. If they don't think it's 'planned,' they subconciously think "someone's got to do something about it" and anxiety springs-up in the brain

This is why atheists envy Christians---because the Christians know that "God's 'got this planned-for,'" when 'reasonable observation' (and clear-eyed, reasonable reading of The Bible) makes it clear that 'God has no idea!' http://theblueroomblog.org/no-god-doesnt-have-a-plan-but-thats-ok/ But Christians have that 'peace of mind' anyway!
