Baker Street, being home to the Great Detective, it will be no great surprise that the motif on the Tube Station platforms is the man himself.
The photo shows the Bakerloo platform, where the tiles have miniatures of the classic Holmes head, with deerstalker and pipe. The patterned tiles are arranged to show a larger scale head of the detective.
I had a day in the city, yesterday, taking piccies and visiting some places I hadn't been to before. I shall see if I can stick up a few more before the day is over.

@Tampa_girl7 I did get myself a collection of short stories by modern authors. If you ever come across a book of short stores called 'Flashman and the Tiger' do have a read of the title story. It helps if you have read the Adventure of the Empty House as you can get stuck straight in

That is interesting. I didn't know that there was a real Baker Street. I love the Holmes movies but you know which is my favorite Disney's The Great Mouse Detective I love the cartoon.
A mock trailer for Disney's The Great Mouse Detective using the audio from Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes trailer. *I do not own the rights to the audio or vi...

They have a Scherlock Holmes themed pub in Denver called Baker Street that's kind of fun once in awhile. Expensive, though.
