Had to laugh

So I got up feeling sad that Valentines Day coming and no one to be with like when I was young. A bit sad. Then I did a search on being alone on Valentines and came across this quote a guy made and for some reason I busted out laughing.
"If you are sad about being alone on Valentines day, just remember that no body loves you any other day of the year either."
I'm sorry but some how it struck me as very funny.
talk about weird. then I get a call on my phone that I don't answer cause no caller ID. they leave me a voice message from Valentines, Nebraska.
How strange is that? Its this sweet calming music is all it was
I checked my e-mail and find that I have my spam folder filled to the brim again. no surprise there. Its just that I check that also to see if a friend might be trying to reach me who's address not on my contact list. Many months ago though I had made the mistake of agreeing to e-mails from Deadline Hollywood and soon regret it. as my mail box exploded next days with tons from there. I have unsubscribed many times. Finally just marked it spam. some of these places just get so annoying and no way to get rid of them.

me too. i think it is because we understand the sarcasm of it. its something our husband would have said. we both had that kind of fun husband with sarcastic jokes. i know that from reading a lot of your memory posts. at least we can think of them and know things would have been different if they were here and some day we will see them again. the love of our life. most people don't ever get that but we had it and can be happy with that.

Over the years it has been a relief to change my email just to stop the thousands of spam emails that would come in every day. I have seen that quote you wrote on Facebook and got a good laugh over it and sent it to a male friend of mine.

@bunnybon7 There is a lot less personal posts on Facebook anymore and so much memes etc. I like the memes and things but I like most seeing what people are up to in their lives.

I always check the spam folder too just in case someone might be leaving a message and it got in there.

About the commercialized mess called Valentine's Day. If I am not mistaken, you made it clear to us on another site that your last husband was someone you really cared about. The days spent with him were probably worth more than any gift that could come your way that day from anywhere.

so right dear and like we all do, i just got a minute of nostalgia and my typical "sorry for myself" lol. thanks for reminding me and thanks for the compliment on my photo. this was not the husband that i miss though. just put it there because we were so dressed on that one Valentines

good for you. i have 3 e-mails but have had 2 of them for so many years that i guess its the reason for congestion lol
