I'm in the kitchen, getting things prepared for dinner tonight, getting some laundry on.. The kids, playing with each other like usual. Well, my 16 month old got in the bathroom and drank some bleach I had in a soap bottle under the sink. She started throwing up and choking. I panicked, cried didn't know what to do. Called 911 but by the time I got all the answers to all their questions I was halfway to the hospital. Well, we're home now and she's fine. Just one of the scariest thing I had to go through yet with one of my babies! God was on my side today!

@jalo770 understandably so. They are so quick at getting into things.

Oh my God! Glad that she's fine. As children grow, our responsibility grows as well. Being a new mom, I learn from this.. take care of your kids.. keep monitoring them ..

That is scary. Glad your baby is OK. And don't think you're a bad mommie. Some people might accuse you of being careless and neglectful and irresponsible. But I know from experience that you can't blink your eye and a child can get hurt just that fast. That could happen with them right in front of you and you're looking right at them. They just do things unexpectedly and they do it quick!!! And you react even quicker!!! Like you said … you were already halfway to the hospital.

So thankful your little one is ok. I learned that kids can always find a way to get where we never believed they could.
