Well today I finally got right on my exercise routine. I wore 10lb weights on my feet and walked for almost 2 miles. After that I did about 20 minutes of hip hop cardio which was fun but since I haven't done it in so long I didn't last as long as I wanted. That was followed by 5 minutes of squats and 15 minutes of weight exercises. I know that with time I will definitely get my endurance up and be back at my hardest workouts in no time. In total I burned 760 calories which is great. For breakfast I had a cup of water, a cup of coffee, a piece of plain toast with nothing on it, and a half cup of cottage cheese. It kept me satisfied for a long time which is great. My lunch and dinner were corned beef sandwiches but I had a salad with the one I had for dinner. I ended up with 700 calories left over after dinner. I know I will start to get fit and slim down as long as I keep this up because I believe in myself and my ability to succeed in my fitness journey. What healthy choices have you made today?

How did you burn 760 calories in 20 minutes? The maximum you can burn with really heavy exercise is around 380 calories for 1 hour.

I exercise regularly but don't count calories. It takes the fun out of the activity. BTW, I read somewhere it's not advisable to put weights on one's ankle when jogging. Something to do about stress on the bones structure of our feet. If you must carry some weight it would be better placed on the waist. I think it would be best not to carry any weight at all.
