It has snowed during the night, not a lot of snow, but enough to cover the landscape with a candid mantle. When I have opened the door, I have noticed several fresh pawprints in the snow. Some were left by the birds, others were surely from Willy the cat. Two tiny pawprints caught my eyes. They looked like cat pawprints, but it were so small that I had a doubt. My husband suggested a ferret, but ferrets leave different tracks. While I was taking the photo, I saw two big green eyes looking at me from the hedge. A cute black kitty was looking at me and I recognized that she is the young cat of the neighbor living in the house in front of us. I took the kitty up, she is friendly, and brought her back to her house. Are you also experiencing a snow storm today?

Those are very clear pawprints. Aren't you lucky to be able to have a cat or kitten 'fix' occasionally? Did you realise there is a typo in your title?

I am sure the pawprints are those of the kitten, I have looked at her little paws. I wonder if she comes out of the house when the kids open the door to go to school. I have to watch tomorrow morning, she is too young and I fear she can have an accident.

Fortunately no. We have had a very cold month of January, but I have not seen a flake of snow, and it is sunny today. Nice picture of paw prints.

They had announced snow from last week, then yesterday they said that it would have been a sunny day... well someone opened the wrong window to look outside. It's not very cold, I think it will melt without shoveling. The black kitty is lovely and I have seen how she stretches and why the paws are so close one to the other.

@louievill When I see strange tracks I feel a bit scared, not knowing who left them. I fear the snakes, but snakes do not go out in the snow, I am sure.

Mud is not funny, the garden is full of pawprints, it seems that there is a lot of circulation when we are not looking.

Yes, there are wild ferrets in the area. I have seen them running from the trees branches to the roofs of the houses. They are funny.

I see how they do this, because Willy left something very similar. They are funny, they put the two front paws very close together, one touching the other, and then they stretch.

Awww - those are the sweetest paw prints, aren't they? No snow here, ever . . . but apparently we can expect some more rain later. Mud prints would be more like it here, but I don't even see much of that.

We've only had a light dusting both last night and the night before. Yesterday, by mid-day all the streets and sidewalks were bare of the snow unless there was any ice left from before. I have ice in front of my house on the sidewalks and am hoping that people walking realize that the snow is covering the ice there and don't fall. I should go out and sprinkle salt on them, but I don't want to fall myself. Maybe I'll get that done before heading off to work today, if I leave this place-mylot early enough. I may share about our dusting later.

I think tomorrow may get near forty again and on Sunday too as we're supposed to get more rain both days again.

Those are the paw prints of the small cat, I have seen why they seem to have less toes, it's because they put the two legs in front of them, one overlapping the other, and then they stretch arching their back. Anyway you only see 4 paws, the fifth does not touch the ground.
