I am an American, raised in America, educated in American schools. As a child, I was taught that Communism was bad. When I grew up and could study and do research on my own, I came to the conclusion that communism wasn't all that good.
Maybe the “ideal”, having all things in common, might be good. But so far I've never seen that put into practice. It's just theoretical. Evidently, the leaders of Communist countries don't think it's practical.
Some say capitalism is bad. To which I say … capitalism is not a form of government, per se. Communist is a form of government and if that form of government is so great, why are the famous people always trying to defect first chance they get? Not just famous people but I can think of famous people as examples.
Isn't North Korea a communist country? I don't see where the leader has anything in common with the people other than the fact that he's also Korean!
