What is the expiry time for a toothbrush?

There are two types of toothbrush: the electric and manual and I use a manual one, so... My dentist recommends that I never spend more than 4 or 5 months with the same toothbrush. I follow that advice strictly.
I think the maximum time I got to spend with the same toothbrush were 6 or 7 months.

You can tell when it's time. The brushes aren't as stiff and getting bent from use. They are soft.

It should be until 3 months only. Says by the dentist and said by one of the segment that I had watched zillion years ago.

3-6 months before I change my toothbrush head because I use an electric toothbrush.

I heard it was three months. Your dentist is the one who would know.

Interesting. I have never thought of it that way, and am prone for my husband and I to go way longer than this. Might be time to start stocking up on the ones from the Dollar Tree more so we can consider this.
