Sometimes I Really Just Want To Give Up Run Away and Hide

With all the additional stress right now going on due to Financial and my Health etc, it sometimes can become quite overwhelming and makes me wonder what next. Right now I am very edgy and knowing my Health and sugar levels are out of whack, is part of it I am sure. But yesterday was one of those days where I was so edgy and on the edge of my seat. Felt like no one could understand or want to help me anytime I was asking questions looking for answers, and so it was one of those days anytime anyone was unhelpful I would get stressed and Cry. Lately it seems like crying is one of my Best friends. I go thru these days from time to time where all I want to do is cry, and then the next day like today, be ready to start calling around ask some more questions, and seek some answers. As to the Financial trying to work on my business a little more putting more items up on all my sites trying to get some more sales, etc. No, Rome was not made in a day, and Yes, Miracles can happen. Just continue to be Prayerful and trust God to help me get thru this trying time. At least tomorrow my husband is going to go get our Prius inspected to see if he can drive for Lyft.

Sometimes "running away" is a good way to recharge the batteries. I've done it frequently (when things begin to overwhelm me, I jump in the car, throw in the overnight bag, and head to the Smoky Mountains). I'd also recommend talking to your health care professionals about anti-anxiety medication. I've been on it for nine months and it has made a world of difference in my life. It does not make me a zombie, but rather helps calm the irrational things. I also took meditation classes that helped as well. Good luck. I've been down that anxiety/depression road, and it IS NOT FUN.

Well, sometimes when these thoughts come since I cannot get away due to being disabled with Fibromyalga, and do not drive, and cannot walk far, I am limited to what I can do. But meditation, reading the Bible and Prayer besides coming in here and Posting helps a lot for sure.

Everyone is undergoing the same thing... But all we can do is to fight back every emotions - save what we have and make sure to grow it like here at mylot. I know we don't earn much but it can help a bit if we save it and pay some bills. God bless the works of your hands.

Well, Yes, it is a pleasure having sites like this where I can come and make a little extra $$, and be able to talk about things that matter while earning a little extra money.

I would take one hour at a time and be as relaxed as you can be during that time as it will allow you to let the stress go. Because all stress does is to mess us up and make us feel much worse than we really are. I have had to learn the hard way "Be still and let go". It will help you to think more clearly. I know what its like to cry buckets of tears too and its good to cry but crying too much will keep you from listening to your own wisdom and you have it right there.

For me, a lot of my meditation and being able to destress at times comes from being able to come here and post some, or by Reading the Bible and Praying. It is hard to let it go at times, and things from doing this often make it easier.

@KrauseHome I find that I cannot meditate like you see other people do. Rinpoche says just let the mind be as it is. Even if its like a wild horse out of control just let it be. In other words let all your anxiety be as it is donĀ“t fight it just let it be. I find this far more comforting than other things that I have read. The Prayer of Jabez is something that reaches me far more than a lot of Prayers I know. Its very simple ages old and yet contains so much wisdom. In the end its just relax and be in the moment that you are and try to be as happy as you can even if things seem so tangled.

I hope your husband can drive for Prius that will help. I hope you are able to make some sales.

Well, Sales are still 0 on eBay. Not sure why so slow for me. One other site I sell on have not had a sale since the 1st and been 4 days since a sale on Amazon. But offline, I did actually have a decent sale today.

I hope he can too. Goodness knows work is getting so scarce my eldest is off work again so he has to go chasing after Agencies to give him work when before they were always chasing you instead to work for them.

Have you checked to see what agencies or volunteer groups are available to help you with extra expenses you have b/c of illnesses? Not sure what is available in your area, but some private groups have funds for those who are going through medical issues.

Most of them do not want to help due to my husband works and go by income, and since I am on SSD and he works they say we make too much, even though we know people who make over $40,000 a yr and are married who can qualify.

When I'm feeling depressed I go to places that no one knows me. I will spend the day hanging out or do nature stuff to clear my mind and unwind. Its good to have sometime for yourself. Treat yourself with love and respect and somehow it will make you feel better./

I have done that. Hopped on a bus for the day since I do not drive take myself out to eat and just relax and forget about the things that might be bothering me in real life.

I feel the same way sometimes I have bills and other worries that I just avoid/procrastinate certain things cuz I don't want to have to deal with the stress lol I know that won't get things done but at least for a little , I don't have to worry
