X today is in his/her mid 20. He wakes up with a stained retina staring into his cell phone screen. X spends sometime scrolling and smiling. X hopes out and jumps into his/her sneakers. He makes a snap chat video and isolates her/him from the 'noise' around with plugs in her/his ears before short run. On the run X stops innumerable times to capture a moment while estimating energy burning displayed on his/her wrist. . X is back in the cocoon of his showers trajectory. X is ready and food is prepared. Photos are taken and uploaded. En-route to work X joins rest of the letters of the alphabet race roped to their wires and locked into their screens. At work they are again hooked to their systems and swinging by their phones. Back home and dinner is searched for online, ordered through app and payed for digitally. Before the great fall X watched a few episodes online updates a status and closes his/her eye lids where his rods and cons are still receptive to the light from her/his phone where this sleeping playlist is playing into her/his eardrums.
