Highlight Of My Week!

One of my dear friends was terribly sick this past week. She called me for prayer, she could barely talk. I said is there anything I can do to help you, she paused and said she did need help with a couple of things. So I went to her home. Now it had been several days since she was able to eat, so I thought lets try to get a tablespoon of orange juice down and see if she was able to keep it down and she did. So I encouraged her to try it once an hour or if she thought she could keep it down try every half and hour. Anyhow I helped with what she needed done and prayed for her and went home checking on her every now and then. The next day her husband answered the phone he came home from out of town work to be with her. Well, I am sitting at my computer today and suddenly I hear a loud knock on the door. Here is my once very sick friend with a bouquet of flowers with a gracious "Thank you"! My heart melted as I took the flowers I held her and thanked her and said she shouldn't have! It really blessed me. Little things really do mean a lot! Who can you reach out to this week? It can make all the difference in the world. Picture by bing.com

Your prayer really works and wasn't it great to be able to see your friend up and about again? God has used you to help your friend. You are certainly a blessing to the people around you.

@LadyDuck Yes I was blessed when she brought me the flowers. I certainly wasn't expecting it as I didn't feel as though I really did all that much. But I guess little acts of kindness can really go a long ways!

@LovingMyBabies Yes she most certainly did much more then I knew til she stopped and gave me a bouquet of flowers God love her. Ya just don't know the effects of reaching out and helping someone in need how it blesses them. Praise God if I do anything right! I want Him to recieve the glory as He laid it upon my heart to help her.

@jstory07 Yes she was very thankful, much more than I realized until she brought me those flowers. I mean she said thank you and that was sufficient as far as I was concerned. She is a beautiful woman of God for certain.
