Everything is closed today as we get hit and hit hard by this nasty storm. The wind is just howling and the snow is heavy. I can't even see across the street. They are advising people to stay off the road as the visibility is zero. All restaurants, schools, businesses and shops are closed. I am glad to be inside where it is warm. It is suppose to all come to an end this evening sometime. It is our worse storm so far this winter.
Just going to spend the day mylotting and watching a few TV shows. Have a good day everybody.

@Happy2BeMe Ouch! My son missed most of this one. He's on the CT shore. It has been a very mild winter up to now. I'm going to compare our snow plow bills to last year's before I make any judgements. Hope those storms veer off!

It has really only just begun it seems. Up until February started we had a fairly mild winter and no snow on the ground. I just heard there are two more storms headed our way over the next week.

We had a day like that back in November.. I had to go to work. It was really scary! It actually took me 4 hours to get home that night.. and my drive is 30 minutes on a good day!

@Happy2BeMe It was.. and on the way one of the big road plows was in a ditch! It was one of the worst days we've had around here in ages!

it was like that here the other day.the snow was right in my face and i couldn't see anything.i'm surprised there weren't more accidents.

Yes it is surprising when the weather is bad that there aren't more accidents because there are usually so many cars on the road. Yesterday here all the roads were closed and only opened to emergency vehicles so there were no accidents. An ambulance did end off the road though.
