Are Travel Articles Hyped up?

I see a lot of amazing travel articles around the web. It makes me nostalgic in a way that I want to go where they are talking about. They depict this beautiful place usually. I wonder how hyped up they are compared to a real experience.

My bucket list would be different from their bucket list. Not everyone wants to travel and some don't want to travel to Estonia.
You are probably right suspecting hype. We are not going to show you the slums of Charlotte to get you to visit North Carolina.

I've put up some slideshows of some of our travels. I agree that some do look almost too good to be true.

Yes I think the good parts are shown more than the bad probably. Who wants to reminisce the bad stuff?
