My Chocolate Truffles Made It!

I thought it was just going to be just like most of my other discussions posts… It would go to the top of Most Recent list and the bottom of Top Rated list as soon as it was submitted. Then as time went by, it would go down the Most Recent list but go up the Top Rated list as others starting to Like it. It would run its 24-hour course in the Top Rated list and usually it would never make it anywhere near the top ten before it would fall off the Top Rated list... 
But by its 12th hour, to my delight my not-so-pretty chocolate truffles was the first thing people saw when they went to the default landing page of the site even before members logged in. Must be a slow new discussion posting period around the time I submitted it – it needed only 28 Likes to be at the top of the Top Rated list. And from then on, I enjoyed every moment of the glory of being at the top of both Top Rated (for another 12 hours) and Hot (while it was also receiving most number of responses) lists...

But according to myLot time, the date was just turned to the 13th when it was posted... at 12:34am to be exact... now, that's some nice sequential numbers if I may say so...

@ridingbet Yes, all posts go through the Top Rated list on their first 24 hours only. But any post will be on Hot list when it receives responses, doesn't matter when it was first submitted.

Thanks! The page I meant was the one I put up as a header for this discussion... It's what I get to when I type mylot dot com in the website link box...

Congratulations on that, but I want to say hmm also because I've never watched any of those lists to see if any of mine ever got somewhere on them. I never got in the habit of watching them on the b site either.I didn't know that getting a lot of likes would move it up on the top rated listing. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future if I ever want to see what happens after posting.
I also never begin on the landing page, so that's probably why I'd not thought about it before. I've been checking for new posts more recently, but that's mostly it.

Yes, the Top Rated ranks all posts submitted in the last 24 hours based on the number of Likes received. You would also see the same posts in the Most Recent except that the newest ones would be more likely at the bottom of Top Rated while they would most likely be at the top of Most Recent...
