Superstitions are the by products of the thoughts which are deeply rooted in our subconscious mind and which influence our approach towards various aspects related to our life.
In India owl is considered to be a sign of ill omen ,then pregnant women is prohibited from eating papaya as they think it causes abortion. Cat crossing your way is too considered as bad sign.
What are the prevailing superstitions in your societies?

There are so many to mention. But I guess this things are not good... Because we lost big when we believe it.... Because when we do we lost our faith in God. Bible does not say anything about superstition... It only said believe in God and walk on his way.... So when he gave us job.. We don't come back home when a black cat passed by our way.... Lol!
