I wish that someone had really told me how hard and crippling grief is. Its been almost a year since my mom died, but it still feels very fresh sometimes. Like I am going backward into that feeling of disbelief and like oh my god I don't know what I am going to do. How can she be gone ?
We were very close, I called and talked to her everyday, she was my rock and the only person that could calm me down when I have a freakout. She was the only person left in my life that made me truly feel Good about myself. She was so smart, and funny. And the kindest person ever, anything good about me, comes from her. And oh gosh I know this is a sad rambling post so I will wrap it up with that this site right here makes me miss my Mom. I used to talk to her about any good discussions I would get into on here back when it was up before.
What makes you miss your loved ones sometimes?

It is going on three years since my mom passed away and I miss her so much. Not a day goes by that she is not on my mind. I still cry when I look at pictures that bring back a flood of memories. Losing a parent is such a great loss. You never get over it. There is always that ache in your heart that never goes away. Sorry for your loss.

I think it is better to give her a smile everyday up in the sky to make her happy also everyday knowing that you can smile every day will surely give joy to her heart. And make sure you give God a smile too.
We miss everyone who is not around... I just don't know what will happen if I'm already have to say goodbye to my parents. Bit I hope it wasn't soon yet. I wish I could go first.

Sorry for your loss. I can understand how you must be suffering from her absence. It isn't easy for someone to lose one that they love so much.
You ramble on if you need to. Post sweet memories of your Mom. I for one will read them.
Big hugs to you.

How old was your mom?
It sounds like you had a wonderful relationship with her. Don't be afraid to grieve for her. Remember and smile about the good memories.

She was 60. I try and do the little things that I loved with my Mom with my daughter and it makes me think of the memories. My daughter is only 2 but we do sing together just like me and my mom did :-p

@spicysweetie21 that was much too soon.
my father in law passed away when my son was just weeks old. his younger sister was born 3 years later and never met her paternal grandfather....he was just 58.

That is saddest feeling every people can ever experience. I hope you can move on soon. It's hard but sometimes we need to accept those events of our life.
