The U.S. Senate is the only governing body that has the power to stop any presidential appointments for major offices within the administration. Hypothetically, if a racist president wants to nominate people to his administration, only the Senate can thwart his eugenic plan. Currently, there are 3 Black Senators and only one Republican one. There are 4 Hispanic Senators, 2 Asians and no Native Americans representing the Senate. The Senate confirms presidential nominees to head major governmental offices. There are 2 Cuban-Americans and one Black Republican Senators. The rest are White. In total, the 2nd largest race in the Senate is the Hispanic one (4%), followed by Black (3%) and Asian (2%). So white-americans comprise 91% of the Senate. The GOP, who owns the majority of the Senate, are 94% white. 98% take bribes from major corporations. So when you see a conflict between any minority group and corporations (owners of the country), you already know who is going to win. If you have a president that wants to promote white nationalism using greedy politicians, the current state of U.S. leadership is a fertile breeding ground.

@RhoSgambo ~I say vote the rich bums out. I don't know how some of them manage to stay in office. All a voter has to do is look at the voting record of their representative. Take the Stream Protection Rule, for example. Republicans in Congress passed legislation to overturn this. President Trump sign the bill into law. It is now LEGAL for the Coal Industry to pour coal ash into our rivers. Who does this benefit? It benefits Coal Industry executives and the members of Congress that they bribed. How about Healthcare? Americans will never get good healthcare in this country because the two most poweful men in Congress, House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell get millions of dollars from the healthcare industry. It's been reported that Mitch McConnell said that it wasn't HIS JOB to get jobs for Kentucky residents. How are these guys still in office?

These guys are still in office because they are the best B.S. artists in the country. They use fear-mongering, xenophobia and blatant lies to trick their constituents into voting them in. They have plenty of money to continually use smear campaigns to crush any opposition and the misinformed/uninformed
buy their B.S. every time.
