Pay in your dues and Cash Out Life Rewards. You have to give something to get something. I work hard, keep my head down, and my nose clean. I try to help others who are less fortunate than myself when I can. Why, because you are less fortunate than someone else. We should try to leave things better than what we found them when its possible. Last week was hard for us it was one bad thing after another. Throwing in the towel crossed my mind but when you have others to care for that is not an option. So instead I decided to step up my game and grind harder and my hustle paid off. The results of all my hard work put in? I got paid in full for all the blood sweat and tears invested. My wife made a $250 sale and I landed a business arrangement that not only paid me in cash on the spot but also was something that I could flip or a profit as well as use for our benefit. As if that was not good enough life decided to grant me more. I happen to be on my way to finish the last of the work to finish up the business arrangement I had made. As I was driving to the site I happen to look over and notice that my neighbor up the road was struggling to load some things into his truck while his son and wife stood by and didn't help. Since I had plenty of time I decided to drive up and offered a hand. I said what are you doing and how can I help? He said I got new furniture and I need to get rid of some old furniture. I said I tell you what I will get rid of it for you if you help me load it into the back of my truck. My wife does a lot of DIY, resale and repurposing among other things. I brought home the furniture thinking she could do something with it. She smiled and said what do you want me to do with it? I told her I don't know do what you think is best. She said its salvageable nothing wrong with it really other than its dirty. No worries nothing a little elbow grease can't fix. She cleaned it up and put it in our bonus room to be used as a work station/desk for my paper work. I thought it was great i needed a table or something where I could sit and do my work that wasn't the dinning room table. This way when I am planning a project i can work uninterrupted and I am not in the way of others during meal times. Plus because it has the extra bench for seating I can have my partners and customers sit comfortably while we figure everything out. I have paid in and now I am cashing out! All I can say is that it feels good when you finally get the pay off after so much hard work. Want more you have to give more life is all give and take. Wishing all of you a great weekend.

It is great when things go in the right direction. People can get discouraged when it seems like things won't work out. Maybe everyone should remember we have all been there on some level.

@lokisdad Sometimes things don't get better. We still have to hang in there for those around us who are also hanging on.

@PatZAnthony This is true but those situations usually aren't as common most times even if it takes a long time things will change and improve.

We are quick to forget that. Yes it does feel good when things go in the right direction. Positivity is hard to have when things are not going well. I know that no matter what they will always get better we just have to hang in there long enough to see it happen.

What a good read! Well, just as the common thing I hear, the law of karma really sees everything. What you give out comes back to you ten folds, a hundred folds, depending on how long it came to you. Bless you for being a kind person.

Thank you. I like to think that Karma does exist. Buddhist believe in balance and rhythm as do I. Nothing works when its not all working in sync. I try to be a decent person. I think the world already has enough bad we need to start putting some good into it so I try to do my part. Had I drove on by I would have missed out on the return. I just couldn't I realize how good of a relationship I have. My wife helps me with everything. Even if it is a small help we always work together. I saw him struggling while they just stood there watching him and it made me shake my head like wow. We are a tight knit family. My kids will tell you all about team work and what it means to them. If you work together it lightens the work load. We do it together and ask for help when we need it and offer it when you see its needed. IE: We have a fireplace I chop the trees down and split the wood, my wife gathers it, my son carries it in and my daughter being the youngest and weakest collects all the kindling. We all like the warmth of the fireplace it benefits us all so its not just Dad's job.

@lokisdad you are setting an excellent example for your kids that they may also share to their kids once they have their own families as well. You're right, the world needs contribution of goodness from each of us.

@jainaproudmoore I appreciate that we really try hard to make sure that our children are a good contribution to the world. We have been heavily critiqued for our methods of child rearing but we don't care because we see positive results showing that we are doing things that are working. Like our oldest child is a straight A student he makes honor roll every year. People see that and they think it is great but when they see how much work we make him do we come under fire. School says 15minutes of reading M-F. We make him read 45mins -1 hr M-F. Our son has been doing algebra since first grade. We make him practice his cursive school requires 0. Weekends he reads 1 hour each day, times tables and cursive.

The table and bench look great. I grew up knowing you work hard and it will pay off down the road. Its a give and take, so be prepared to have patience and get to work on your goals. Have a great weekend.

you have been one of the lucky ones. Many put in as much blood, sweat and tears as you have done without reaping rewards in the end - we should always try though

This is true I think when you try hard and they didn't work no matter what it's usually because its not meant to be. We had been trying to buy a bigger home. Every try didn't work out we've been trying for a few years. Mrs pretty much gave up always something went wrong. We stop trying focused on other things. I went to do a job and it fell in my lap. Perfect it was everything we had wanted that we had written on our list.

Thanks. I was content with just getting caught up and things going in the right direction again. The furniture was honestly just a straight bonus for me especially because I thought she would flip it for a profit. She said she could easily get $100-$150 for it so when I saw that she decided to keep it for me I was stoked. I told her she could sell it but she said it was okay she would find another item to resell and make it up somewhere else.
