How did you get your pet?

I get a new cat today.
It's a female cat, and I think she is pregnant.
She came by herself when I was in front of my logding house. She is so cute and so tame. Soon we become friends.
Then I decided to take her as my new pet.
What about you? How do you get your pet?

@princemaxp D is still a bachelor, but Sweety is already married. I noticed a yellow male cat that came to my house last 2 days as her love. 
I think they can't be together.

Good to hear -- you so kind to animal. I think the cat likes you. Once I saw a cat infront of the apartment. When I was about to pick it up, the little girl grabbed it quickly. I thought she was the owner of it.

You are tempting me to write a book on the countless pets we have had since our marriage - some adopted and some bought. The last one we have walked in through our gate a wee bit of a pup - pitch black. We had decided to give ourselves a break from having pets but that's not what Preiti wanted.. She wanted us to adopt her
She will be ten this june - a prize possession by all standards

That's nice that you've taken in a new pet. We have a sheep for a pet and he was rescued from people who weren't looking after him properly.

We have pitbulls and a bulldog at my parents' place. My brother bought them when they were still puppies from his friend.
