No idea. There should be an interesting history behind all those numbers I suppose, although I'm not superstitious so I don't know much about those things.

I really don't put much thought into the number 13 being lucky or not or other superstitions. Having said that, I don't understand why, but I would still feel a little more uncomfortable if my taxes were being audited on the 13th. :) I will NEVER walk under a ladder, either. Also, welcome to MyLot.

I'm so knowledge to say it is nothing or it is something but whenever I ask this question the answer I get from my elders is that- The whole world is running in a pattern. Actually the galaxy is running in a pattern. Pattern is the reality. The numbers and letters in the alphabet or letters in different languages alphabets are all patterns or names given to the patterns. The planets move accordingly. The future is predicted according to this pattern.
Coming to number 13, it is supposed to be number during which most of the disasters or tragedies have occurred. So it is is considered to be bad.
Well, still I too personally don't like to believe it.
