I checked my cat grass this morning and I had seen that there are a lot more grass than before. It's like all of the seeds sprouted and grew.
I placed the pot at our front porch so that in the morning they can catch some sunlight.
My mother was also delighted to see that this batch is better and told me again to plant in another pot but I told her that I was running out of seeds. So, when we went out this morning, we went to the farm supply shop and bought one kilogram of seeds for P21.00 or almost $0.50.
I might plant again on Wednesday.

Yup, they also eat grass. It's good for digestion and it helps them eliminate their furballs.

do they get consumed immediately by your cats, that you must plant every now and then?

The first batch is almost consumed now Ate. They are short now. Hihihi
It takes time for the grass to grow so we have to plant again and again. Hahahaha! My mother wants me to plant in another pot once again. She reminded me this morning. Hihi

@ridingbet Hahahaha No Ate... Just fill the pot with soil and then put the seeds over the soil. Put a handful and then cover with a little soil and then water. That's it... During the next few days, you will already see the sprouts.

I give it to my indoor cats once the grass is about 6-7 inches high. They will eat it.

@tzwrites Yup! They will thank you if you do, especially if they don't have access to the grass outdoors.

Yup! I enjoy planting, too! I used to plant vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes, squash, eggplants and long green chili pepper.

@Brittnyrose It's good.. We sometimes fry sliced eggplants.. Sometimes, we make an omelet out of it...
It only has a mild taste and not overpowering when added to dishes. When fried, it borrows the taste of the dipping sauce...

If ever you pass by a farm supply shop, you can take a look at the seeds for pigeons and look for the ordinary concentrate... The majority of the seeds there is the cat grass seeds... I think it is wheat or bulgur. Hihihihi!
