My mind is out of breath

I am reading recent discussions. Let's just say I am overwhelmed. There is a person who has over twenty discussions posted in the last three hours. All about how great things are, etc. Can you say "blither".

This happens all too often with new members. They seem to assume that flooding the site with discussions will boost their earnings, but if they took the time to read the guidelines they would realise otherwise.

@GardenGerty Quite likely. It would show up by the activity that they have.

The profile for this person says they joined eleven years ago. It could be that they joined bu did not ever become active.

They are those newbies I saw that too. I had to scroll down a lot to read a posts fronm one of my friends. I decided not to check them. They will have to learn to be social and let the rest post too or else.

Yes, that is the way to earn big here. Twenty discussions in an hour should make that person a millionaire in no time.

@GardenGerty If that's all he's saying doesn't sound like much of a discussion. Are any rising to the bait or is he being left alone? I didn't see his when I was there last night.

I did not see anything I wanted to respond to. It is their privilege to post that way, but I am afraid it will all turn sour and be the source of many complaints about the site being a scam.
@GardenGerty (160665)

@DesirousDreamer They joined eleven years ago. No, there was nothing to report per se. They are not discussions unless someone will respond and there is a back and forth exchange of ideas. Until then they are just posts.

@GardenGerty Newbies. I feel like we do get a little hostile towards new people, but they really are not doing anything against the rules since they are starting discussions. It can be annoying, but that is why we have the follows tab so we can just see the people who we actually follow instead of going to the most recent stuff.

Blither means to talk foolishly and without care. One source defined it as "blather", talk about circular thought. I do not think anyone is responding to that person.
