why music albums are not an integral part of Hollywood movies?

Hollywood isn't Bollywood. I grew up watching many Bollywood movies and none of them were without singing and dancing. Even sad movies like Sangam and Bobby contained some singing and dancing. I guess Hollywood has a separate genre for such movies. And if it's a dramatic movie, no singing is allowed by the actors. I've only watched one Bollywood movie that has no singing and it's a horror movie but I can't recall the title.

Music is definitely an integral part of Hollywood movie, but not songs.
Infact Hollywood works really hard on background score.
In India, its only A R Rahman that works diligently towards background score.
However Bollywood movies are more about songs and thats fine as the songs are kind of emotional connect or a tool to take the story forward.
Hollywood movies like Inception, Titanic, Avatar, Interstellar, they all had background score as integral part of the movies, but they do not need songs like Bollywood.

Well, really they are and do. Just a lot of people want songs with words and not just sound. music scores are hard to come by and getting songs with actual words are even harder. But there are many movies and even shows that use music and even full albums to help the movie
