I make most of my money online by proofreading. I've earned a couple of thousands ($) that way.
Suggestions/ideas: There are so many ways to earn online that, to narrow things down, it's perhaps best to think about what your strengths, skills or interests are. For example, I consider one of my strengths to be my eye for spotting typos; hence, proofreading. (* I know proofreading involves more than spotting typos, however.)

@BulKathos There is a member here who earns by putting his videos on youtube. I don't have any way of knowing how he does that, or what he videotapes.

@akalinus Thank you, I will try that with gaming videos... first traffic is the hardest, then it goes viral if you get enough starting traffic

Thanks for the information... the interests are certainly games, but what to do about that perhaps videos, merchandising or something like that...

There are gpt sites like Clixsense and Swagbucks. I have been paid many times by both. You would have to check to see if they are available where you live. I just heard about a site called TimeBucks. I don't know anything about it.
In the past, I made more writing online. Unfortunately, many of those sites have dried up.

@BulKathos I don't understand all that stuff. There was no internet when I was in school. I had to learn everything the hard way.

Online Freelancing and Blogging are the best ways i think to earn money online that gives you decent payment. However this needs a lot of time, effort, and skills.
For example Online Freelancing, you need to take jobs that suit your skills that was requested on the site. Sample task are creating logos, programming.
Blogging also needs time since you need to build reputation to your website, write good articles that you know can get views and but also suits your interest as a writer.

I just use mylot and swagbucks. If you put enough work and effort into it, you can earn quite a bit. :-)

@BulKathos It's easier to earn on swagbucks but I've been a little upset with them lately because I can no longer watch videos on their page and that was where I earned the most money... :-(
