What helps me at my age is reading, music and TV believe it or not. And yes, being here in MyLot and some other sites I use daily. I like to keep my brain active.

I have the time. The things I enjoy though aren't necessarily going to help me grow into a better person though I think.

I love to read but how far is a fantasy novel going to help me as a person I wonder?

@jhechorain it does. Every book you read, every movie you see, every person you meet, is helping to to grow. Maybe the characters from your book inspire you, and that's growing. If it s something that you feel you enjoy it, do it.
