Heavy meals before bed at night?

Have you ever felt that hunger so "uncontrolled" before bedtime that you can not be at peace with yourself until you eat something before bed?
Well, it happens to me sometimes... But I never eat anything heavy. Particularly because I don't feel good due to a slower digestion at that time of day.

For my husband and I this is always the issue. Since he works swing shift and gets home at 11:30 p.m most nights he ends up cooking a meal of some sort as well. Many times we try and keep it smaller and simple, but from time to time we do something bigger and end up having it play havoc with trying to sleep later for sure.

Never have heavy meal just before going to bed. Atleast sleep after 2-3 hours after your last meal.Avoid carbs at night as they do not get burned easily and turn to fats.
