I Just Remembered This Open Burning Thing

I am not sure if it was in 2015 or 2016 when this happened. I was at home all alone, I smelled smoke. When I went out of the house, I had seen that there's a thick smoke coming from the western part outside our fence. We had lots of fresh laundry waiting to dry up outdoors because we washed our laundry that morning. The wind was blowing towards our house. I went where the smoke was coming from to tell the people who were burning, to stop because our laundry will smell like smoke afterwards, which I think already smelled like smoke when I went out. I really got mad then. They had to pour water when they saw that I was mad. Then I realized, those were the barangay officials together with some of the hired people in our barangay to clean. Fast forward... This morning, the barangay officials came here to remind us that burning is no longer allowed. Our barangay captain didn't come but he was one of the people who led the burning before, he wasn't the captain yet at that time. It's good I wasn't the one they talked to this morning. I should have reminded them about what happened before, it's only now that they realized that it's bad. Hihihihi!
