As I write this entry, I am trying to endure the pain caused by a bleb on my right breast. A bleb is a blister on the nipple caused by a blocked duct which is commonly experienced by breastfeeding Moms.
Gone through many online sites last night and read articles of how to treat it or at least ease the pain. Hot compress, cleanning the affected area, pumping and direct latching and massaging are the common home remedy treatment. It is not that serious as it doesn't require any surgery but the pain is intense ... so intense that I almost hurt my little one when he latched last night because I squeezed him tight and almost dropped him.
Hopefully the bleb heals immediately and wont come back as I dont want to experience it again.
Do you experience having a bleb? What other breastfeeding "nightmare" have you experienced?

Some feeding mothers use nip care at night.
