I had posted several discussions before about cat grass but I still haven't discussed how to grow them. There were some who got curious what it is and they never heard that cats also eat grass.
Now, I am going to show you how I plant the cat grass for my cats.
First, I bought the seeds from a farm supply store. They call it "ordinary concentrate" and usually it is fed to pigeons. These seeds are wheat seeds mixed with cracked corn and some other seeds.
Next, I separated the seeds. I only need the wheat seeds.
Then I took a pot of soil.
I placed the wheat seeds on top of the soil.
I added a thin layer of soil on top of the seeds.
Lastly, I watered them and placed them on the porch.
I always made sure that the soil is moist.
I have to wait for about one to two days to see some sprouts.
After 7 to 10 days, the cat grass is ready to be eaten by cats.

i wonder... why did i just like this and not comment at all? hmmm, maybe i liked this on the phone of my brother then the net went blank.
so, hija, after the grass is eaten by the cats, you must grow another batch again? don't they grow automatically? like the weeds?![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

@ridingbet I already removed the first batch Ate. I don't think leaves will grow back from those stalks...

They are not like those weeds Ate.. I think it is similar to planting rice, wherein you need to plant and then harvest, then plant again. Hihi

Really? Wow! Here, you still have to plant it... And the farm supply stores don't know that this can be grown and eaten by cats.. Hihi

@LadyDuck Yes! There was no problem before when we have few dogs at home and we just let the cats roam outdoors.. Now, we kept our female cats inside the house, also for them not to have more kittens. Hihih So I am giving them cat grass in a pot.. Hmmm

Yes, I think in some areas, they are sold on their own... In the stores here, they have those mixed seeds...

It's great to see your own grass growing, and your cats will be happy too!
