While driving from site towards home on highway .I see a lady with two kids of 8 and 6 year old asks for lift .I think it is best to stop as it was late evening and she was with two kids .I stopped and she asks me" where are you going" I told her "I am going Srinagar" .Then she told her kids want to go their maternal home please drop them near wasu or something (some place whoes name I did not remember as I am not belonging to that place )Where their maternal causin will pickup them .I told her OK .When I reach there I did not found any person whom I handover them and I think it's not safe to leave Childrens alone on higway .Then I told children's do you know where is your maternal home they replied with yes and shows me way which was off road and I handover them to their grand mum.after leaving them It comes in my mind if I was kidnapper or any other criminal how she handover her kids to me.Even she did not know me.What do you think about that lady was she stupid or innocent....

I certainly would never take a chance like that with my children, no matter how desperate I was.

That lady doesn't behave like a mother at all. She just behaved foolishly and carelessly.

@syeow1 in short more than that, if the kidnappers took the children away, then she will be crying or what?

Maybe the mother didn't have any choice but that sounds very risky. Someone else might have just dropped them on the highway. It doesn't sound a good thing to do at all.

it is good you were not victimized by men who commit demeanor. if i were you, i would not stop and give a stranger a lift; my safety and security should be observed by me.

Maybe shes not the real mom. I have a nephew and I never handed him to a complete stranger ever. I even taught him not to come to any stranger even they tell him that they know me or his mom. But maybe she have that a big faith in people. I'm glad that she found someone like you.

I wonder if she make a habit of that do you think or was it just a one off? However I would not let my children go with anyone at all never ever. I would have to walk it there or whichever way but I would go with them. Or if all seems impossible to stay at home and look for a much safer way. You were very good doing that though.

@syeow1 No more than any other. There was a Lady that I used to go to School on a main traffic Road. Her two little Twin Girls used to follow me to the School. They were Indian Girls and they used to grin when I looked back at them. They would stop and watch me and wait till I got to go across a dangerous Road and then they would follow me behind and cross in safety. That went on for ages and every School day their Mother would wave to me through the Window just around the corner from my MomĀ“s House and I understood that for some reason she could not take them. So they came behind me all the time and I felt a bit like a Mother Hen sometimes but I did not mind however. Their safety was important to me even though I did not know them at all.

What a stupid mother she is. Imagine, letting her kids go with you, a complete stranger. What indeed fi you are a kidnapper? Well, I guess she found you good looking and honest too.

@syeow1 It's good that the children knows where the location is..It would be a big problem if they didn't.

How disgusting???How can a women handover their children to an unknown person???And you took risk because today's date wht if they would have charged you as kidnapper??????????Being kind is appreciable but here i think you shd have given a thought why the lady is leaving kids alone??????So please next time think before you do...i don't know either the lady is innocent or foolish...But my friend i don't want you to be one of these....you r a nice guy..

Yes I believe she was too innocent and naive to leave her children with a total stranger.Goad forsaken if any mishappening had occurred misery would have befallen upon the poor lady.
