Did they deserve it?

Recently I had an opportunity to travel through the outskirts of Johannesburg. I have read a lot about the apartheid days of South Africa. No doubt it was cruel and humiliating days for the black people . Now that apartheid has been gone , it was so shocking to see and learn something quite disturbing , a group of white people living in something called refugee camps or so , or in even worse conditions. It been very tough for them to get into government jobs according to the people in the camp and they are not preferred in comparison with the black people. I met an elderly woman there and had a conversation. She said to me this is the price we pay for what our forefathers have done to the black people. I could hear those words only with tears . Did this new generation of innocent white people deserve this ?

I don't think discrimination is ever okay but unfortunately it still happens even in this day and age.

I think they deserve to fight for their rights. Everyone deserve to live a comfortable living. And their children even though they seem to have the curse of their forefathers by badly treated the black people before... Still they deserve to live a happy one.... Unless they are the same cuts with their forefathers that they will too belittle people the moment they get powers of their own.
