Ran out of gas, Now WHAT?

Only the once and that was enough for me. It was a long time ago in the days before the mobile phone but luckily just after I pulled over the police came along. They took me out to our farm and then took my husband back to the vehicle with a can of fuel so he could take the car home. That was the first and last time and now I never let the fuel get below a quarter full or after we have travelled so many kilometers, the vehicle is refuelled.
