I bought tickets for a play on this particular day cause hey, end of February! Easy driving time. Yup. Started snowing. BUT the temps are slated to go above freezing so maybe it will just be silly rain.
Our wild cat decided it was stupid roosting out in the rain. She elected to come in. I'd prefer to dry her off with a towel but what does she prefer?? She'd rather sit on the middle of the dining room table and dry off there- doing it herself. She just sticks her tongue out at me when I yell NO cats on tables! EVER.
Then roommate comes up with an announcement: she has decided she can now afford to pay us three hundred a month for staying with us. Hmmmm.

Is that a good hmmmm or a bad hmmmmm? Cats never do what we ask them, they are superior beings lol

@BelleStarr Good question. I'm not sure. I told hubby about the 300.00 and he said he'd rather that roommate save that money up, keeping it for the time she moves away- and probably for legal help due to her past issues.

@sallypup start a savings account, with those funds, and sit on them, later if/when she has a need, boom money there

@Jessicalynnt Good idea and probably the best way to not start a fight.

@Jessicalynnt If we take the money it will make her feel better while we'll be left feeling like we stole from our local bag lady.

Wow that sounds eventful. Was $300 the agreed upon amount?

@FayeHazel We are not paupers. Roommate is kind of my adopted sister and when I found that she was pretty much homeless, I said she could stay in our guest room. There never has been a price put on her staying with us. She feels obligated but we worry that she is in a deep, dark hole. She gets 12 dollars in food stamps each month.

Cats never listen to us unless we go and open a can of food. They always hear that.

Well so you have had good news and bad news. I remember the last time my Sid came in with muddy paws. He jumped on the bed to lick his paws silly cat and when I told him to get off he stuck his tongue out at me.

@RasmaSandra Sid is a good boy and a character, like all decent felines.
