Some situations will be out of our control. Sometimes it's best to just allow the days to just flow. We're unable to control what others "will do." Finding the best ways to deal with whatever comes are way will certainly keep the stress level down. There will be the ups and downs. Sometimes just waving a hand and doing whatever needs to get done is the best way to go. Sometimes we're placing more loads on our shoulders by trying to handle matters which can not be controlled. If a situation becomes to bothersome then it's time to take a break and then get back to what needs to be taken care of. Too stress and the body will break down. If we're being annoyed then "find relief." Shutting everything down will offers some peace which is needed in order to stay functional. We're unable to keep going without any downtime. Trying to deal with too many matters and there goes the mind. Completing tasks is no problem but when there's a lot of disturbances then trying do to so is quite difficult. We're always able to manage. Taking some time to relax is a must and a plus.

Hi Teep. I think you're right about taking some time to rest. We have to give ourselves time to review what needs to get done and in what order. We can get burnt out if we demand too much from ourselves!

I make it a rule of mine to let anything worrying go out of the window by nine at night or at the very latest ten o ´clock. However last week was an exception as it was really stressful and I had trouble sleeping for a while. This is the only way I can cope with very difficult situations. Stress makes it hard for us to concentrate on the tasks in hand and we become less attentive to what we are doing as well.
