Good evening.Do you collect?if so tell us about it
Mike and I have been collecting for the last forty five years.
We are a huge fan.We collect Santos or Saint from Central America
We have been there for the eleven times or more.
We love Guatemala. Most of the santos comes from there from the Indian Market.
Pottery is one of my favorites as you can see.The green pottery is from our state of New Hampshire.plus Marblehead,Weller,Hampshire,S.E.G.
I have stopped collection those now.Have too much and no space?
We are a big collector and this is only half of what we have.
every day I told Mike time to let go.You know how hard this It?they are like family.
How about you a collector. Most of our things are antique and collectible.
no new stuff.
the photo is some of our favorites.Santos and Pottery

I am a collector as well. I love your collection, it is an interesting mix. I collect bone china English eggcups, Fenton mini hobnail vases, aluminum ware and cookbooks just to name a few of my collections. I also have many Godey Prints and mini Halcyon Days enamels.

@amadeo Godey was a ladies magazine in the 19th century and they had handpainted watercolor prints in the magazines. These prints are highly collectible and at one time I had a whole wall decorated with them.

That is very nice pottery, it looks like somebody there also collects crucifixes, am I correct?
I don't really have a collection, I've learned my lesson that they start to take over my extra space and I've stopped it. There was a day when I collected china tea cups and saucers.

@amadeo My uncle, who was a RC Priest, had a village that he helped to build in Guatemala, he went down twice a year. When my Dad passed away, the Knights of Columbus bought a challis in his name, and had it inscribed, and we gave it to my uncle to take down there as they were using a china tea cup!

I've collected stuffed animals and figurines over the years. Anything with angels, sunflowers, doves, strawberries, and dolphins. My mother and brother collected state coins for a couple of years. My brother collected baseball cards and others a long time ago.

Didn't you collect paintings and masks as well? I love it - it's like a gallery in your own home! I wish we had room like that. I have a lot of figure skating items (ornaments, and knick knacks) but they are all in large box at my parents house!

Hmmm, let's see. Perfume bottles and samples, vintage dolls, old photographs of unknown people, and Enid Blyton Dean&Son Ltd. books, any edition. I seem to just fall in to collecting things! I also have quite an extensive collection of rarely worn shoes, many of which are Irregular Choice, and thus not really good for general wear! Oh, and postcards sent from foreign lands.

Such beautiful things. I no longer collect things though I once had a wonderful collection of blown glass animals. I still have bells from every US state and from many countries. They are in an antique china cabinet.

@amadeo - No, they are mine, but we don't speak, so I figure I'll never see them again. It's worth it to not talk to those people. I can always start over.
