My "quiet place"

The panorama shown here was taken at Allaire State Park in New Jersey. This is the place I go to when I need a bit of "me" time. This part of the park gets very little traffic and I can get lost in my thoughts and wonder at the beauty of the natural world. Do you have a "quiet place" of your own?

I love going to the beach. I love the sound of waves as the wind blows to my face. Tranqulity and peace, watching and listing on the waves helps clears my mind and relaxes me.

@WanderPhotog i am luck, Im in a country with lots of beautiful beaches with best sceary and all. Only experienced watching sunrise by the beach once. It is difficult to catch the sun when you are tired night prior.

@Santino1 You truly are lucky if you live close to the beach. I grew up and spent my entire life within 15 minutes of the Atlantic Coast. I strongly suggest experiencing a sunrise over the ocean at least once in your life - it is truly incredible! I don't get to do it nearly as much as I would like.

I can't see the image. I don't have any outdoor quiet place. I would prefer to be in my room if I need a peace and alone time. I don't know if that count.

I can only wish I had a quiet place. Not here. That looks very rustic there. I bet you can clear your head real good there.

That is glorious, so beautiful. I have several quiet place that I love, Mother nature makes me happy. my favorite place is in the Adirondack Mountains of N.Y.S.
