How come babies pants have pockets?

They dont have anything to keep in there but half eaten cherrios so I don't get it. Has anyone actually used them for function?

Fashion statement? I don't understand why babies need pockets too. After all, it will never be used.

hah funny, I suppose they could be used for a pacifier or something..I think its just for style though.

Baby clothes often copy adult clothes. Grownups have pockets in their clothes so they put them on baby clothes, too. I am just guessing. Maybe there is a better answer.

Its all about fashion. Pockets are given just to look nice.

Probably just for looks! I bought my daughter the cutest little nightgown when she was little and it came with 2 pockets that looked like upside down umbrellas... had to be just for looks!
