Sun setting at the lake

I went for a hike at Turkey Swamp Park after work one day. I had noticed all day how wonderful the sky was and wanted to do some shooting at the lake. When I arrived there was a great grouping of clouds to the east and so I headed to the west side of the lake and shot some panoramas. I continued walking around to where I knew there was a dock. you can see from the photo that the sun was beginning to set and it was giving me some nice light but the clouds weren't cooperating. I almost didn't shoot but decided I was there anyway so, why not. This image is comprised of anywhere between 4 and 8 images stitched together in Lightroom. When I shoot panoramas, I typically shoot in portrait which gives me a lot more to work with when I get home. The most difficult part of shooting this was the angle - I wanted to get down low and so I was lying on my belly which made panning a bit difficult but the biggest problem was getting up afterward!
