Good morning,A much better day.
What is the biggest food trend in your area.
Not sure in my area.I will day burgers.Everyone has a signature burger.
Today dinner table look quite different than many years ago.
some have their cell phone by their fork.
Each plate there is a different meal.
We have children gluten free and nut free.
Which most of this is a good idea, they are more aware of food.
vegetarian is on the rise.More people are doing this
We are learning more about food.etc.
I have or we have change over the years.
Yes,the food trend is changing. This is good.Keep them healthy
Photo is more of our damage tree.

In the south the trends are the same as many years gone by:
fried everything
Mac n Cheese with every dinner even if you have potatoes or rice too
Bologna/white bread
Mountain Dew
greens of all kinds cooked with bacon fat

@amadeo They put bacon fat with everything. That's why most of my state's population is obese.

We've had quite a few Japanese based restaurants opening in the city where I work in the last couple of years. I've never tried it myself.

Yes, I do know that the food is trending more toward healthy food and I am enjoying this trend. Like to have organic and no GMO's whenever possible.

My husband and I like Wendy's. We like their burgers and chicken nuggets and both of us are happy. I have to have my meat and potatoes as the saying goes.

I think that here in Canada there is more of a trend toward veggies. The more ways you can learn to serve them the better... just don't cook them. ;)

I live in a small little French Canadian village, and the locals (not me) are all great at making chicken and sliders, sliders are dumplings. We have dinners twice a year in the church basement-they are so GREAT! I wish that I could make these, but it is actually something that you have to be brought up learning the art of making these dumplings because I've devoted many years to trying, but I don't have them down like they do.

We just have the normal run of the mill pizza places. My area is very country so we have local restaurants which serve basic meals
