I've always loved the sport but I never dare to start classes in the past. I been practicing it for about 3 months now and I enjoy it a lot. Best desition ever. It would be so good to connect with fellow pole dancers on the site to get a few tips and share experiences. My goal is to participate on a championship someday.

Well you should definitely try it. I was scared at first but is so fun and... cheap! some people see it as a taboo activity but it has evolved so much that I don't see why people keep thinking in a bad way about it.

@luisadannointed well that's good too! I love books as well but mostly the fantasy type. Maybe you should recommend me some of your favorites.

Good to know that you have a talent of pole dancing. I would like to share a experience in my country in a show called India's Got Talent. There a less than 16 year brother and sister took part in the competition and they have learnt pole dancing. When the judges asked them why they choose it especially as it was not known or famous in India when compared to other dance forms. They told that it helps them keep their body fit and they find a lot of joy when they practice or perform. Even though I am not into this hope the information provided by me would be of help. Many youngsters like to experiment different things these days.

That's amazing! I hope it finds it's way in your country is actually a great way to get fit and to have fun at the same time. I find gyms boring so this keeps me from being a couch potato.

@Maximodecimo True gyms get to tend a bit mechanical for many unless they enjoy the exercise routine. In the end it is something like this choose what you like and feel happy doing the same repeatedly with no fatique.
