I get all kinds of emails, newsletters from journalism to politics. Things I've signed up for in the past for one reason or another. I wade through them daily. Many I get rid of, others I do save for one more month to see if they continue to be interesting. Today one of them had what the Queen Elizabeth II of England eats each day. I found it interesting and thought perhaps you might too. My mother was quite a fan of hers. Not sure if it was because she looked like her or for other reasons. I was named after her. My middle name is Elizabeth.
Pre-breakfast she has some biscuits and a hot pot of Earl Grey tea. Her favorite breakfast cereal is Special K and she might have toast lightly spread with some marmalade. She doesn't eat any starch. Or she might have some yogurt and maple syrup.
For lunch she has a gin and Dubonnet. Lemon and lots of ice along with it. She eats chicken or fish with a salad or vegetables. For tea time she will have cakes, scones, and jam pennies indulging in even afew finger sandwiches with the crusts cut off.
Then for dinner she will have some meat or fish that have been locally sourced. Salmon from Balmoral or venison from Sandringham. It is served with a sauce made of some mushrooms, cream and whiskey. She may have a well done roast for Sunday dinner.
She does look like she is in pretty good health for a lady in her 90's. Oh, and she is also quite a fan of chocolate too.
