Companies don't hire us on our grades. What matters to them is what we can do for benefits and profits of company. If we have a great minds then no need of those textual knowledge.

I agree with you but that is some thing the students and teachers are doing wrong, not the education system. The teachers are supposed to teach in a way where the child understands the basic concepts and can easily understand everything what comes after that and a student must not mug up or only understand the chapter when he sits down to learn. He must devote his entire attention and grasp all the knowledge possible.

Yea you're right! But what is the need to learn those things which doesn't help in job.

@_karan_mutha_ i don't think you're looking at it the right way, friend. Everything is interelated and in order to have knowledge, we must have the ability to perceive everything that comes our way. We will be able to do so only when adequate amount of basic knowledge about subjects are provided. This builds a base for EVERGREEN learning.

@_karan_mutha_ also, having knowledge about your job isn't enough. In this competitive world, you need to say updated, have functional hobbies and stay ahead! Knowlegde and wisdom will get you there!
