I Dreamt of Chocolate Cake

Yesterday, I wrote of my recurring dream of sorts that involves a specific house. What I didn't mention is that I rarely remember my dreams these days. It's funny though because today I actually remembered my dream from last night. I dreamt of chocolate cake, well various cakes really. And I realized that there is another somewhat recurring location in my dreams. There is a place we used to frequent when we lived in the Chicago area called Minou. This was a very small bakery run by a woman named Spring. I realized when I woke today that I have had at least 3 dreams where I have visited Spring's restaurant when going back to Chicago only it is in a different location. The location, however, is the same in each dream. Weird. My dream was interesting though because i was combining two of my favorite places: Minou and Andre's Chocolates. The cakes I selected were actually ones they sell at Andre's, but in the dream I was at Minou. The dream was pretty detailed as I looked at the different choices. Needless to say, I woke up hungry!
